Lore Lindu National Park
Lore Lindu National Park
The second largest lake in Central Sulawesi is the Lake Lindu, with an area of 3,150 hectares is based on the highlands about 1,200 meters above sea level. The National Park offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surroundings and a cool climate. Lake Lindu can be achieved followed by car from Palu to Rahmat Village, by a 4-hour hike through dense tropical rain forest. Cottages are available for visitors. Lariang River

Halmahera
Halmahera Island
This island lies east of Ternate, separated only by a narrow strait. It is a mountainous island, still largely covered with forest. The shores are white sand and coral reefs are found in their waters. With a beautiful spectacle, Mount Mamuya (930 m) spews burning lava from time to time, in addition to the attraction of this island.
Pearl oyster breeding farms on Mangaliho island can be reached by motorboat. 
North Halmahera
Geographically, North Halmahera regency is at 10.57 ‘-20, 0′ north latitude and 1280.17 ‘-1280, 18′ east longitude to stay. North Halmahera regency declared on 31 May 2003 with the capital’s Tobelo.
